Privacy Policy — SafeNest Family

Summary

SafeNest Family does not collect, sell, or share personal data with third parties. Screen Time summaries are processed on your device using Apple's APIs and are not uploaded to any server by this application. The app performs no tracking (NSPrivacyTracking: false).

In plain terms: your child's activity stays on the device. We don't run analytics or advertising trackers, and we don't have a server that receives your family's Screen Time data.

What data the app handles

Parent passcode — stored only as a salted hash in the iOS Keychain. It never leaves the device and we cannot recover it.
Scheduling and restriction records — your limits, schedules and allow/block choices are stored locally in App Group storage on the device.
Screen Time summaries — usage information is provided by Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls) framework and processed locally to build the reports you see. It is not uploaded by this application.

Tracking and advertising

SafeNest Family does not track you across apps or websites and does not include advertising or third-party analytics SDKs that profile you. The app's privacy manifest declares NSPrivacyTracking: false.

Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties. Because the app does not upload your child's Screen Time data to our servers, there is no such data for us to share.

Children's privacy

SafeNest Family is a parental control tool designed to be set up by a parent or legal guardian and used on a child's device with the knowledge and consent of that parent or guardian. It is not intended for a child to use independently to create accounts or submit personal information. Parents are responsible for complying with applicable local laws regarding the supervision of minors.

Data retention and deletion

Because data is stored on the device, you remain in control of it. Removing a restriction, clearing the passcode, or deleting the app removes the related data from the device. There is no server-side copy held by Belkis Software to delete.

Apple's role

SafeNest Family relies on Apple's Screen Time / Family Controls and on App Store services. Your use of an iPhone or iPad and the App Store is also governed by Apple's own privacy policy. Apple, iPhone, iPad, iOS and Screen Time are trademarks of Apple Inc.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes may also be noted in the app's Important Information section.
